I come from a medical science background and pursued a career of dietetics so that I could work both in the medical world and share my passion for nutrition. I graduated as a dietitian in 2005 and I made Wellington my home in 2008. I live on the glorious south coast of Wellington with my husband and two young children.
I have the knowledge to translate medical nutrition into practical and manageable diet advice to fit in with your lifestyle and help you and your family achieve your best health.I believe that feeding your family good food so that they can thrive should not be confusing or difficult. My clinical practice is based on up to date clinical evidence and consensus.
Over the years I have worked in a range of different specialities both in the UK and NZ. I have a special interest in working with children and their families. I am currently working at Wellington and Kenepuru Hospitals providing nutrition advice for children with food allergies and intolerance, fussy eating, faltering growth and digestive health including low FODMAPs diet amongst others.
I also have extensive experience working in the fields of enteral feeding, bariatric surgery, cancer care, brain injury and kidney disease.
